We are Dennis & Lou Saint, the pioneers of Oakey Creek Speckle Parks. We are based 17kms NE of Manilla in Northern NSW on the beautiful Namoi River.
Being 3rd generation beef producers, the land & cattle breeding runs through our veins.
Honesty & integrity are at the heart of our operation. Our passion lies in breeding top-quality stock for the commercial cattleman & stud breeder.

Our breeding objectives have always focused on producing bulls that are quiet, easy to handle, have a quality phenotype, combined with performance traits which will increase the profitability of our herd & our clients.
We achieve this by following & chasing some basics:
- High fats, high marbling – fats are everything! Fats are the difference between eating an old leathery boot to a culinary delight that the knife glides through effortlessly.
- Scrotal / Fertility - Larger scrotal circumference is generally associated with higher sperm production and better semen quality.
- Longevity - leads to economic savings, genetic consistency, improved herd health, Adaptability and Management.
- Do-ability – thrive in any conditions.
- Weight for age –ensuring efficient growth and maximizing profitability.
- NO to myostatin – we believe through our experience myostatin eliminates the fats, whilst myostatin can increase EMA. We also have found that if you go chasing EMA you can lose other attributes.
We could list all the usual traits that everyone uses like temperament, good feet, sound udders, etc etc. but we just assumed that if you’re in the breeding game that should just come naturally. If they don’t possess these traits, purely & simply YOU CULL!
